CONNECTICUT OPEN REGISTRATION

Grant Wilfley Casting holds open registration every Wednesday from 3pm to 7pm in our CT office. We are registering people of all ages and ethnicities who are interested in working as an extra for THE PRIVATE LIVES OF PIPPA LEE, EVERYBODY’S FINE, and the UNTITLED SAM MENDES PROJECT, which are filming in Connecticut. You can stop by to register Wednesdays from 3-7pm (except holidays) at our Connecticut office - 76 Progress Drive, Stamford, CT 06902. DO NOT stop by at any other time. To register, we will take a digital picture and you will fill out a form. Bring a headshot if you have one. No acting experience required. Connecticut open registration is for SAG actors and non-union members. Also, you can submit yourself via email or mail. Please scroll down for casting details for our various projects.

If you are SAG member who has visited Grant Wilfley Casting’s office and registered since open registration resumed in December 2006, you may respond to any posting by sending an email message containing your name, contact number, and any requested information to the email address listed in the posting. If you have not registered (or re-registered) with Grant Wilfley Casting since December 2006, please email a recent digital picture or snap shot, contact information and some basic size information when you respond to the posting. For more information regarding registering, see below.

Grant Wilfley Casting holds open registration for SAG members at our New York offices on the first Wednesday of every month, from 11am to 4pm. To participate, SAG actors are invited to stop by on an open registration date. SAG actors should bring a headshot and resume. They will fill out a form, and a digital picture is taken. All SAG actors interested in doing background work should attend only once for 2008. Do not stop by at any other time. No phone calls, please. Again, this open registration is for Screen Actors Guild members only.

Grant Wilfley Casting is seeking SAG actors who can portray the following for the upcoming feature film The Rebound (aka Untitled Bart Freundlich Project/ARAM FINKLESTEIN):

  • Boys playing baseball, ages 8-12;
  • Park types - moms and nannies with strollers, walkers with dogs, cyclists with bikes, skateboarders, rollerbladers;
  • West Village types, Upper East & West Side types, etc;
  • Pregnant women for doctor’s office scene;

Grant Wilfley Casting is seeking the following for the upcoming feature film JULIE & JULIA, starring Meryl Streep and Amy Adams:

  • Handdoubles for Streep who have professional culinary arts/chef experience;
  • French and European-looking people for scenes set in Paris. Seeking men and women with 1950s hair. (Men should have short, neatly-trimmed hair and women with chin- or shoulder-length hair. Or must be willing to have hair cut. Must have natural colored hair, no highlights. Men and women must be comfortable smoking on set and/or being around smoke.
